Oh Dear is the closest thing on this list to a peer. Their website monitoring is excellent and covers very nearly the same ground as ours — uptime, certificates, broken links, mixed content, scheduled tasks, DNS, Lighthouse. More monitors for the money
Oh Dear prices per site: €15 a month for two, €49 for ten. Pingniner prices per monitor: $6 a month for thirty. If you are watching a dozen things, that gap is the entire comparison, and it grows from there.
The machines as well as the sites
Oh Dear is deliberately external — as they put it, there is nothing to install. That is a legitimate design choice and it means they cannot tell you a disk is filling up. Pingniner runs an agent on servers and workstations reporting CPU, memory and disk.
Anything can be a monitor
A ping, a port, a heartbeat, a blacklist, a server, a workstation, a website — all the same currency, drawn from one allowance. You are not paying per site for things that are not sites.

Where Oh Dear is stronger

Unlimited team members, always
Every Oh Dear plan includes unlimited users, single sign-on and two-factor authentication. Ours includes between one and eleven users depending on tier, and we have no SSO. For a larger team that is a straightforward win for them.
Deeper site inspection
Mixed content detection and sitemap validation are theirs and not ours, and if you care about the details of a website specifically, they have thought about more of them.
A sharper focus
They do one thing — websites — and the polish shows. We spread across seven monitor types, and breadth is not free.
A well-earned reputation
Oh Dear is built by people with a long and public track record in the Laravel world, and it is a genuinely well-made product. We would recommend it over us for the right shape of problem.
Questions
Does Pingniner have unlimited users?
No. Users are included per plan, from one on Hobby up to eleven on Enterprise. Contacts — people who receive alerts but cannot sign in — are unlimited on every plan, including free.
Do you have single sign-on?
Not currently. Oh Dear includes it on every plan; if SSO is a requirement, that decides it.
They both look similar. What actually differs?
On websites alone, not much, and they are stronger on some of the detail. The difference is that Pingniner also watches servers, workstations and mail reputation, and charges per monitor rather than per site.
